From out of town

By train:

On weekdays and most Saturdays, trains run directly between Bedford and Brighton through London calling at St Pancras International, Farringdon, Blackfriars and London Bridge up to four times an hour for most of the day with the last train leaving Brighton at 23:37. 

On Sundays, trains usually run up to twice an hour with the last train leaving Brighton at 23:45. Trains to London Victoria via East Croydon and Gatwick airport run approximately every 20 minutes. For timetables and fares visit nationalrail.co.uk

By coach:
National Express runs a regular service from London Victoria to the Pool Valley coach station near the Old Steine. For timetables and fares visit nationalexpress.com

By car:
Brighton is approximately 60 miles from London via the M23. Car parks are clearly signposted in the city and there is metered parking in many areas.

From further afield:

Gatwick Airport is 25 miles north of the city and has a regular, 25 minute train service direct to the city.

Newhaven Ferry port is eight miles to the east of the city and has a regular bus service (12, 12a, 12b, 12c, 14 and 14c) into the city centre.

On foot:
Walking between most Brighton Fringe venues is easy.

By bus:

By bike:
Most venues in Brighton Fringe are within cycling distance of the city centre and Brighton or Hove rail stations. Make sure you lock your bike considerately, especially if you are visiting open houses.
