Bexual Healing

#FindYour Funny, Weird, Story

It’s just a pun, although some of the characters might be witty and off the wrist. After last year’s starters, this is the intercourse before the dessert, whoops sorry I mentioned Bex...

Bexual Healing is a retro character comedy filled show in which we, the audience come across four unlikely socially awkward headstrong female characters from the 1920s-1990s. Each one not only struggling with the quirks of neurodiversity but also trying to break the mold, speak out and seek love.

Bex Turner returns to Brighton Fringe with a brand new work in progress for 2024. Having been performing for quite a few years she's looking to try something new!

Rebekka was a Quarter Finalist in Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year Competition and received the Pebble Trust Brighton Fringe Award in 2018. Since then she's taken a variety of fringe shows to festivals such as Edinburgh, Camden, Nottingham, Faversham etc.

"Rebekka Turner plays several highly funny characters with a 'League of Gentlemen' edge."
- Simon, Extra Topping Comedy 2023.

"Charming and hilarious...the love child of Tommy Cooper, Eddie Izzard and Victoria Wood’
-Sajeela Kershi, Comedy Cottage.

"Fearlessly funny, gorgeously unhinged and imaginative, you will not get bored watching Rebekka.”
-Funny Women

Reviews

A gleefully messy performance that's just as surprising as its name suggests. Work-in-Progress, but worth the watch

- Fringe Biscuit Magazine 2023

This is a fun, troubling hour.

- James Walsh (personal reviewing blog) 2022

Darkly nonsensical
