THE NUMBERS STUDIO TOP PICKS BRIGHTON FRINGE
The Numbers Studio is a Brighton Fringe 2023 partner and proud sponsor of creativity. Not...
Every year, Brighton Fringe works with a key local charity, raising awareness and fundraising for their work across the festival.
Our charity partner for 2025 is The Clock Tower Sanctuary, a homeless charity supporting young people across Brighton & Hove.
Their Fundraising and Communications Manager, Chris Hough, says:
"The Clock Tower Sanctuary want to see a city where all young people have somewhere they call home.
We provide young people who are homeless with a safe and supportive space to shape their future.
The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in day centre for 16-to-25 year olds experiencing homelessness in the Brighton & Hove area. We’re a place where young people who have nowhere to call home can feel safe and ‘just be’. We listen and respond to what they need and treat everyone as an individual. We know that no young person chooses to be homeless.
We meet their immediate needs by providing a freshly-cooked and healthy hot meal, clean clothes, a hot shower, and a compassionate conversation. Each young person can access a Support Co-ordinator who works through a plan to identify and access the services they need, such as seeing a doctor or registering for benefits. We help our clients to find housing, look for training or work and a safe place to express themselves and their creativity in our groups and through partner organisations. Last year we supported 139 young people who visited over 3,100 times to the day centre.
We wouldn’t exist with out the partnerships we have within the city. Thank you to Brighton Fringe for being an essential partner."
