Domi is known as the "eight-armed woman": she has created six additional arms to do acts of service in her community and all over the world. However, Sora, who lives next door to Domi, believes her work is hugely detrimental to society. Suspicious of Domi, Sora can’t resist making a hole in the wall to spy on her.
‘The Arms’ is a two-woman show about coexistence. The opposing ideologies of Domi and Sora are exposed in the show as they double down on their incompatible approaches to doing good for their community.
Our set and costumes are made from recycled and compostable materials.
The show will start with a short housewarming talk and will end with a brief Q&A with snacks.
‘The Arms’ is the winner of Bird & Blend Sustainabilitea Bursary.
