Over at Brighton Fringe HQ we’re always trying to come up with new ideas to improve what we do, and this year we’re very excited to announce our brand new Freedom Season! We’ve spent a lot of time looking at how we can champion accessibility for the audience and also showcase the amazing talent of artists with access needs.
As a result, we’ve partnered with several venues throughout Brighton which lead the way in access. We’ll also be collating events which are either created by, or accessible for the Deaf and disabled. All of the information about the Freedom season will be widely available through our website, brochure and newsletters, so you’ll always be able to check details relating to accessible events and venues.
Another aim of this season is to work with different communities within Brighton to produce all different kinds of media including reviews, promotional videos and much more. We’ll be posting these on the Brighton Fringe website and in our Freedom Season newsletters so keep ‘em peeled!
We’ve learnt so many new things about access already, and we can’t wait for future years so we can improve what we do further.
