Brighton Fringe has accredited photographers and videographers who attend events and performances to capture content to distribute across our networks as well as the networks of the venues and performers who participate in the festival. To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, we have signage displayed at all events acknowledging that photos and video will be taken. If you do not wish to have your image captured, please speak to the photographer at the event or contact us at [email protected].
These images may appear on our website and email newsletters, in our printed materials produced for promotional purposes including leaflets, posters and adverts, in materials sent out to the media, or in reports to funding bodies. We will not include personal e-mail or postal addresses, or telephone or fax numbers on our website or in printed publications. Please note that websites can be seen throughout the world, and not just in the United Kingdom, where UK law applies.
All photographers who participate in Brighton Fringe are accredited which means they hold the copyright to all content they produce and extend a license to Brighton Fringe. We ask all photographers to adhere to all legal requirements and will help in any way to facilitate conversations with parties that wish to not be included in the distributed content.
