Ian is a qualified chartered accountant with a number of years of experience in both practice and industry and has worked in commercial and technical roles across a number of sectors including construction, property, financial services and insurance. His current role is as Financial Controller for the European operations of a multinational video games company. An avid BHAFC fan, he can regularly be found at the Amex with his family watching the mighty Seagulls!
On joining the Board
“I am a born and bred Brightonian and know first-hand that Brighton is a wonderful, vibrant place to live. Fringe is a key part of that, drawing people together and showcasing what makes Brighton so unique. The opportunity to try and contribute to this will be an honour and I hope that, during what will be a tough few years for the country, Fringe can continue to generate great memories and experiences for people”.
How do you hope to impact Brighton Fringe going forward?
“I have always believed that having people with different experiences helps to bring fresh ideas to an organisation and I hope that I will be able to bring my experience from my working life to help Fringe continue to grow, reach an even wider audience and ensure that Fringe is around for future generations to enjoy”.
