Mia Bird is delighted to be invited as a trustee of Brighton Fringe and looks forward to bringing her extensive experience to the table, helping to connect the industry and support young talent.
As a West End performer, actor, musician, producer, director, and educator, Mia has had a diverse and successful career. She has worked with Universal, writing and producing music for various artists, while also touring the UK and performing internationally. She made her West End debut in 'Sunset Boulevard’ in the mid nineties and has since taken on leading roles in numerous shows, TV productions, and original workshops. Known for her dedication and versatility, Mia continues to thrive in the performing arts industry.
In addition to her performing career, Mia co-founded several performing arts schools nationally, but more locally in Brighton, BRICTT, ICTheatre and most recently BN1 Arts. Over the past 23 years, she has trained thousands of students, preparing them for professional careers. She is now preparing to launch the GradCan initiative, connecting professionals with new opportunities and further training, while continuing her work transforming BN1 Arts into a hub of excellence for the community and creative arts.
