Brighton Fringe Wave One Bursaries: Winners Announced!
Each year, Brighton Fringe partners with local and national charities, companies and organisations to offer...
The Numbers Studio is a Brighton Fringe 2023 partner and proud sponsor of creativity. Not only do they support Brighton Fringe with the day-to-day finances, they have also created a wealth of resources for our participants and venue managers and participants and are here to support creatives with their financial needs.
We checked in with the team to hear all about what events they are looking forward to at Brighton Fringe 2023.
INDIA & BILLY: ROCKINGHORSE RAVE AT CARAVANSERAI
Our pick for Fringe would be the Rockinghorse Rave as this looks like some cracking music alongside a great atmosphere to create a great evening.
DEBBIE: THE SPIRIT OF WOODSTOCK PARTS 1 & 2 AT CARAVANSERAI BRIGHTON
This is from my era, the time of my youth. I was young once! I am Numbers Studio’s living link to the past! It sounds like a must for me and my memories. What a time it was. “If you remember the 60’s you really weren’t there”. I will be booking my tickets for sure
LUCY: BRIGHTON’S BIG DRAG PAGEANT AT BRIGHTON SPIEGELTENT
I think it would be a really good show to go to with some friends and watch, there’s a variety of performers (over 20!) and it sounds like it would be a very fun and energetic event, which we’re always up for! I have also previously been to a drag brunch hosted by Alfie Ordinary for a friend’s birthday and we had such a fun time. I haven’t watched a drag pageant before, but it sounds like Brighton’s twist on Britain's Got Talent, so it would probably be a great evening with a lot of creative and talented performers.
NICK: GURU DUDU’S SILENT DISCO WALKING TOURS
A silent disco is a festival staple of mine. Donning a pair of headphones and throwing some shapes to upbeat, cheesy classics does wonders for the inhibitions. It’s a great way to bring people together. I love the idea of taking this to the streets of Brighton & Hove, a city that does public displays of exuberance very well.
CHARLIE: DINKI DISCO AT BRIGHTON SPEIGELTENT
My pick for the Fringe would be Dinki Disco. After having kids, I don’t get to go out dancing as often as I would like so I’ll take a little daytime boogie. My kids are absolute mini-ravers so I think they would absolutely love it!
